Do not apply the Mark of the Web tag to files copied from insecure sources

This policy setting determines the application of the Mark of the Web tag to files sourced from insecure locations. If you enable this policy setting, files copied from unsecure sources will not be tagged with the Mark of the Web. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, files copied from unsecure sources will be tagged with the appropriate Mark of the Web. Note: Failure to tag files from unsecure sources with the Mark of the Web can expose users’ computers to security risks.
