Updating task status updates resource status
Automatically updates resource status, such as actual and remaining work and cost, whenever you update task status, such as percent complete, actual duration, or remaining duration. If you enable this setting, task status updates are automatically applied to resources. If you disable or do not configure this setting, the user's default setting is used.
